Most people in America live in a bubble of like minded people. Whether it's woke ideology, capitalist superiority or Christian conservatism, their ideas tend to get agreement from their bubblemates.
INFORMATION BUBBLES
It's been a long time since the news was actually news. At this point what pretends to be information is actually indoctrination. People are told what to think and what to say and they generally do. So if you're in a blue bubble of information you are filled with Blue dogmas, taboos and talking points. If you're in a red bubble you get the red dogmas, taboos and talking points. Facts and Truth matter not at all, in fact they get in the way of manufacturing consent and indoctrination. The whole purpose is to get people to repeat the party line.
Democrats especially seem to believe that everything they are told is true and at the moment seem to have no capacity for critical thinking or questioning. If NPR or the New York Times says something it is taken as Holy Writ. Instead they practice blind obedience and they dutifully repeat the talking points they have been instructed in and unquestioningly support the government policies they've been told to support, whether that's about Covid, Ukraine, social policies or anything else
Republicans are a little more skeptical but not much.
What this means is that people's beliefs about issues are dictated to them by whichever set of media they choose to get their indoctrination from and that those beliefs are not based in any facts evidence or truth but simply on what they've been told to believe by the brainwashing media.
Is all that by accident?
